This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies this website uses, on what legal basis, and how you can control them. It applies to the website at 1137labs.com, operated by 1137Labs UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany.
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and pixel tags — work in a comparable way. For brevity, this policy refers to all of these as "cookies".
Storing information on, or reading information from, your terminal device requires your prior consent under § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital-Services Data Protection Act), unless that storage or access is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG). The subsequent processing of personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for analytics, and on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the site) for strictly necessary entries.
We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and its parent company Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. With your consent, Firebase Analytics processes pages visited, approximate geographic region (country level), device and browser type, and session duration. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) and EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) as a fallback. Separately from cookies, our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, Google) automatically processes server access logs containing your IP address, the URL requested, user-agent and timestamp. These logs are server-side and do not involve storing or reading information on your terminal device; § 25 TDDDG therefore does not apply. The processing is described in our Privacy Policy, section "Server Log Files".
We store your cookie-consent choice in your browser's local storage under the key
1137labs_cookie_consent. This is strictly necessary to remember your decision and is exempt from the
consent requirement under § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.
When you first visit this site you are shown a consent banner where you can accept or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Firebase. Accept and Decline are presented with equal prominence; closing the banner without choosing is not possible.
