These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If you are a consumer with habitual residence in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of your habitual residence (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation). The jurisdiction rules of Articles 17–19 of the Brussels Ia Regulation remain unaffected: as a consumer, you may bring proceedings against us in the courts of your country of residence, and we may sue you only in those courts.
For business customers (Unternehmer), the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is our registered office in Germany, to the extent legally permitted.
1137Labs UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
